How to find great records
Start with the bargain crates. That's where prices are lowest and the chance of an unexpected find is highest. Then check the genre shelves – most shops sort by music, not by decade.
Always check a record in the light before you buy: scratches, ring wear on the cover and missing inner sleeves matter more for sound and price than a dusty front cover. And ask the staff – they usually know exactly where what you're looking for is.
