What is a record fair?
A record fair – also called a record bourse or vinyl market – is an event where sellers set up crates of LPs, singles, and other records in a hall, a library, or a cultural centre. You can browse everything from bargain bins to rare first pressings and meet other collectors.
Entry fees and opening hours vary from place to place — here in Denmark, free entry and an opening time around 10-11 is typical, but always check the individual fair. Come early if you're after something specific, and late if you're after a good deal.
